UMBERTO RISPOLI (Vanta, winner) – “She is a good one; you can put her anywhere you want. I was comfortable out there all the way around. Anything I asked of her, she did. Jeff (trainer Mullins) and his barn have done a very good job with her. It will be interesting to see how she does from here.”
JEFF MULLINS (Vanta, winner) – “She got away a little slow but I don’t think it mattered. He (jockey Umberto Rispoli) was riding her with a lot of confidence. I wasn’t worried about it. When he called on her up there (at the top of the lane) he needed a seat belt. He said he could have gone over the top. He could have gone through them. She’s just one of those fillies you can put her where you want, and she’ll get you there.”
